Why exhibit at the National Fruit Show?

Undoubtedly it's in every fruit grower's diary (54% of visitors are commercial growers), attractively timed to coincide with the end of the top fruit harvest when everyone has more time for a day out to meet up with friends and fellow professionals (40% of visitors are professionals relating to the fruit industry). Growers are breathing a sigh of relief after harvest and the show is the place to come to talk and see what's new.

More than just a trade show

Trade standIn recent years the National Fruit Show has become a major national event in the wider horticultural industry's calendar attracting serious interest from politicians, policy makers and industry leaders. TV and press coverage, both trade and consumer has always been a feature of the show, particularly attracted by the stunning display of competition fruit which helps bring the purpose of fruit growing into sharp focus. The fruit competition run by the Marden Fruit Show Society means that, uniquely amongst trade shows, growers are centrally involved in the organisation and development of the show which has led to the longevity and continued success of the event.

Other sectors of the horticultural industry are increasingly becoming involved with exhibiting at the show from the tomato industry to English wine producers, not to mention the continued links with hop growing and fruit processors and juicers.

The National Fruit Show is organised by the Marden Fruit Show Society, registered charity number 259586.
